“I wanted it big, I wanted it dramatic, I wanted a rock record,” Meat Loaf said via press statement regarding his new album. The iconic singer is back withHang Cool Teddy Bear, his first since 2006’s Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose.
Hang Cool Teddy Bear features many guest stars, including guitarists Steve Vai and Brian May and actor Hugh Laurie. Laurie is a classically trained pianist, and he lends a hand on the song ‘If I Can’t Have You.’ ‘American Idol’ judge Kara DioGuardi also appears on ‘If I Can’t Have You,’ both as a songwriter and singer. The album is due May 11.
