This guitar was built for Steve by Steve Ripley back in the later 80’s. There are 16 divisions to the octave on this neck. Steve created various scales and modes on this micro pitch fretted neck and called the main scale the Xavian scale. He gifted this guitar to Jacob Collier, along with another Ripley guitar that has 24 divisions to the octave. |
