This guitar was custom built for me by Ibanez. We were experimenting with trying to find a color as deep as Vanta Black and we got pretty close with this one. It’s also a microtonal guitar. It has 24 frets to the octave. s

Why not real vantablack?
Because we looked into it and that paint is not easy to get.
What a unique guitar?
Has Vai played it on any recordings?
Not yet it’s very new.
That looks so badass. I think a regular spec production Jem in this exact colour with a maple board and black Tree of Life would be a home run.
