steves marshall settings?

I'd imgin his settings are lo-7-8 mid 4-5 high 6.5-8 depending on the presence which sould be lower like around 4 or 5 .

I dont know your marshall and some are really different but those are the settings i most commonly use for my 5150 and on other amps I try.

hey man i only said that because you offended most of the girls on this website by saying they cant shred, anyone can shred, its not about if your a dude or a girl, most girls just dont choose to

I never said women can't shred. I don't think having a dick somehow impacts your way of playing although it does make you wanna impress chicks and such but w/e.

Which tone are you looking to get..(from which song?)....

He used different Marshalls from the DLR days to the Whitesnake days....

what marshalkl was steve using? what marshall can i buy to get a vai tone.(i have evos in my guitar).

I think Vai does basically the same things regardless of amp, be it Marshall, Bogner, Carvin.

Seems like he sets the gain not full, but 2-3:00 for dynamics....tones around middle range....and using an od (DS-1) for solos.
