What do you mean ruining a classic? I thought it was AWESOME! Its verry experimental! ;) IA is like Vai and Zappa in one person :P

don't get me wrong, i like experimental and original stuff.... But it just didn't do it for me...

I like when he adds the little Zappa lick in Smoke on the water when it says "Frank zappa and the mothers...."

His version of La bamba is great too.

I love him for saving Smoke on the water.
That song was steamy shit before he got his hands on it.

He rocks totally, some of his stuff with Freak Kitchen is awesome - the solo in almost ANY FK stuff is insane.

If you like pure Mattias, check out Midsummer Night in Hell too, but I really reccomend checking FK out, then again I'm bias as I run their forum and adore them, so hey...
