Yngwies instructional DVD's

There seem to be several choices of these DVD's he has done. So I was wondering which one would really help me improve, as well as be entertaining haha. Any advice would be great, thanks.

I have seen his 1991 REH Instructional, and the 1995 Play Loud one, if not the 2000 one.


I REALLY REALLY like his 1991 video, I think its more becuase of his style playing, and for some reason, I like his playing while he was skinnier(around that time), not for physical features at all, but for some reason it seemed better to me.

I would reccomend the 1991 video.

if you would of read it completely, its just around that time, his playing seemed to be differrent than how he plays now, specifically his solo improvisation.

but whatever, on with the topic.

The '91 video is available in cd/tab form, and is a much better learning tool as the examples are tabbed properly and it just has a more user friendly feel to the whole thing. (choosing what examples you can realistically use in your own style of playing etc)

The '91 REH VHS TAPE (I feel old) I bought was filled with a bunch of his favorite "runs and techniques" at a quick pace. You should know a thing or 2 about playing before you pick it up.
