Ibanez GRX720BK-GREAT guitar for the price paid (220). Could use a pickup upgrade but the tone I get with it is fine as it is.

Washburn WG587- Bought it because it had 7 strings, a fixed bridge, played nice, and was really really cheap($199 from music123.com.)

Crate-GX30 amp- Sounds good clean, combined with the Zoom606 effects pedal I can get some pretty heavy distortion, but it has a tendency to rattle itself to death when I do...(any suggestions? I know it's not really that good of an amp, but I'd rather save my money for something else...)

Roland Cube-15 practice amp- Bought it on the whim because of how annoying it is to lug my crate gx30 around. This thing can really pump out some riffs though O_O!!! I have a drum set in my room for band practices (no space in the basement...can't really walk into my room anymore though.) And this thing held its own at half volume.

And my 5 string Fender Squier Bass and a fender bassman-25 amp.
I love the sound and feel of the bass. Even when I first bought about a year ago...it just seemed to sing. I've played other basses that have a better, thicker tone, but none have been nearly as verstile as this one. The amp is fine for now, but I could use something bigger :).

This is my Cort m520...

I replaced the tuners with Planet Wave lockers with the string cutters.

The neck pickup is a chrome covered AirNorton and the bridge is a open regular Norton. I threw on some strap locks and the action is 2mm at the 12th fret.....

I play throu a 535Q crybaby into a Boss GT-3 into a BBE Sonic Maximizer into a Fender Prinston 112 amp

I also have a Zoom RT-223 drum and bass machine.

hey man can you post some sound files of how the BBE sounds? or at least try to describe what it does? i've always been curious about those things.

Well Markelia.....The Sonic Maximizer corrects the phase between the high frequencies(where the harmonics are) and the low and mid frequencies.

In laymens terms....It makes my little solid-state fender sound like a mesa boogie rectifier. I mean your can put your finger on the on/off switch and hit a chord or a note, toggle from on to off, and hear the difference! It really sounds like a warm tube amp. You can really dial it in. It will make you love your sound again!!!!!
