I CRIED...
At the 7th november montreal show... when Steve played Whispering a Prayer, I started crying like a little girl, man. It was so beautiful. It didn't even sound like a guitar. It was like an alien instrument. I couldn't believe it. If you never went to a Vai concert, you don't know what you're missing.

That song is sooooo spooky - it sounds sooo familiar - but in a way which bings you to tears...
Mr. Vai has tapped definitely into something there....

I was the same way at the WPB show when he was playing For the Love of G-d...my favorites and I just couldn't keep my eyes off that fretboard.
you know how there are very few songs that you like the 1st time you hear them.well thats how i felt about whispering a prayer.picture this, steve on stage at one of the many music award shows ,playing in front of the likes of brittney,50 cent. timberdork,j/blow etc.(buy the way do these people even write there own songs)
playing w/a/p from start to finish in classic vai form.I dont know if they could even handle it.

i saw the 01 G3 tour when he played W.A.P.... it was the first time i heard it... i cried... i saw the 03 G3 tour.... i cried again.
that song is unbelievable... some of the most beautiful music ever written
a song has never given me chills like that before
