Yea, they're yankin your chain. I think he added that finger as either a joke or because maybe something else. but ive watched so many videos and i have yet to see that famed "sixth" finger. I would believe it as to be a joke.

Steve has six fingers, his third mother was from Venus (Venusians have three parents), and regularly visits Venus while searching for musical inspiration (and there's a donut stall near his Venusian house that does his favourite 'lava & granite sprinkles'). It is well know that Mikey (Steve's 'Earth slave') uses Photoshop to remove Steve's sixth finger from all photos. Why do you think Mikey's so good with Photoshop and arty stuff? Steve had him trained on Venus under a Photoshop Grandmaster (Mikey's not an alien, he's from Australia, so he's not far off) and when he slacked off in his studies, Steve would have him dipped into the many sulphuric acid pools that litter the Venusian surface. That's why he's as hard as nails now. It's obvious when you look at all the facts.
It's about time people were told the truth about Steve and his amazing abilities on guitar. He can do the stuff he does because of he has a human and-half-a-Venusian brain and six fingers. I asked him if he'd put his head in my brain scanner once and he refused point-blank in case I obtained documented evidence of his neural status, and Mikey had me removed (roughly) from the back stage area, proving that the Vai camp is worried about the truth getting out. So all you people trying to emulate Steve's playing abilities, forget it-unless you have some Venusian blood in you.
Now be good people and tell the world, especially the tabloids, for whom I'd be happy to do interviews for a small fee-for traveling expenses, of course.
