Fretpick, this video was already picked apart by the guys on JP's board. I forget which member, but one of them slowed it down (and posted the video) revealing that the audio doesn't match up with the video. Supposedly... the footage is real, but the audio was switched afterward. Do a search on the ...

If you EQ the amp right and set the OD up correctly, you should be able to get some decent metal tones out of the DSL. Give that a try before buying another pedal. I'm not a big fan of Boss distortion pedals, but give the MD-2 a shot if you can't dial in a sound you're after. I found the MD-2 to be ...

I'm looking at the boss ds-1 and ds-2 really, they both seem to give a nice boost without sounding like a jar of wasps. Like mentioned, look into an OD and not a distortion pedal. Before buying anything, give your SD-1 a try and see if you like it. If you're not looking for that bees in a can sound...

Peterson Strobostomp 2 is amazing tuner. It also double's up as a D.I if needed. Yeah, I know. It would be perfect but like I said: I`ve heard nasty things about the quality. Maybe I should just take the plunge... What kind of stories have you heard? When I used to work at a music shop, there was t...

I would doubt that his strings are changed during the gig IMHO, as Floyd Rose string changes are not nearly as fast and easy as a fixed bridge guitar...Strings need to be stretched, re-tuned, and re-stretched (and repeat multiple times on each string) to stay in tune, and the guitar has to be inton...
