I know that the Green Meanie Charvel was used for just about all of it. I dont think he was using the Carvin X100B, I have one, and while it does the Flex-Able tone, it doesnt' do a very good Eat Em and Smile tone. The Peavey JSX does a pretty nice Eat Em and Smile tone, not as good though Doesn't ...

The trick with the DS-1 is setting tone control. Most people I see have the tone between 12oclock and five oclock. Really bright and grainy. It needs to be in the 9-10 oclock position.
