Re: Steve's Special Pickup

I was thinking the bar type sustainer on FLO was an early Steve's Special on Evo. What guitar/song does Steve use this on?

Steve's Special Pickup

I'm thinking about getting this pickup to go along with a HS-2 and Evo in the neck on my RG1570. I can't decide between the special or another Evo or another Dimarzio pup. I'm pretty set on getting the Evo's right now, probably along with the HS-2 for the middle, anyone have anything to say about Steve's Special? Or a different middle pickup?

Can you do rhythm playing on the special?

First position is pretty much the 3rd fret and up(or a little further if you get some weird chords) and is covered on http://www.cyberfret.com/reading/index.php
