Re: neck adjustment after string gauge increase

take the guitar and look down the neck. i usually hold the guitar stright out in front of me and look from the back edge down the face of the body and edge of the neck. if the neck is bowed either way then yeah you need to adjust the truss rod. Re: whats with the ibanez prices??

the yen is doing very well and is quite strong compared to the dollor. Ibanez wont discount thier guitars for the American market and quite frankly people will pay for the higher priced ibanez guitars, look at the jems. They are an overpriced RG with evolutions and handle, the herman li is an overpr...

Re: my next guitar

They set thier necks with fiberglass which acts as an adheasive/filler because the neck work was so sh...

Re: my next guitar

as far as getting a good guitar for your money buy used. The ibanez SZ or new SZR are great guitars, the s-320 is a great guitar, a lot of the esp/ltd guitars are solid and so are schecters. I work as a guitar repair man for my local music shop and can say that gibson makes a lot of shitty guitars. ...

Re: what's this thing for?

it is a power amp. Most time power amps are used in rack setups where you are using multiple effects and preamps in conjunction with the power amp.

Basically that is the power section of a tube amp, and you add your own pre amp and effects.

at least that is the most common application i have seen.

Re: 2x12 recommendations

the mesa lonestar/stiletto line is awsome. Best advice i can give you is just play everything you can. Even if you dont think you're going to like it, play it. It is better to know what you like and want then to want and not know if you like.
