Re: Customizing my guitars again.
well is the neck bowed? It could just need a truss rod adjustment or total setup. Washburns turn up on the bay all the time, but depending on the model you may be able to get a strat or tele style neck to fit it. http://www.warmoth.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; is an excellent s...

Re: The new stuff
well it is nice that they started putting original edges back on some of thier stuff, but the jem jr. is basically an rg1550 with a monkey grip. It will of course be cheaper then the other jem models but because it has Jem written on it will probably still be overpriced. That said they will probably...

Re: Anyone have the Marshall Haze 15w amp ?
I thought i'd post back again to give credit where credit is due. We got a Marshall haze 40 combo in the store i work at. I unboxed and plugged it in, again i was less that impressed. My old guitar teacher came in and was looking around and noticed the haze. He grabbed an ibanez rgt42 and started pl...

Re: Ibanez, Jackson, Suhr, Caparison, Carvin, Parker, ESP?
the best electrics as far as price versus vaule and quality are ESP/LTD . I have yet to see a shitty ltd. Even thier low end stuff is amazingly well done. We carry ESP/LTD where i work so i have seen a few come and go, but i am sure there are one or two bad ones out there. The ibanez stuff is good b...

Re: Another amp recomendation question...
well there are a couple of reasons. i have two friends that have both owned legacys and they have also played through my mesa and both said the exact same thing. They said that it sounded like legacy only more versital... i am not sure why they would say that if they didn't think it was true because...

Re: Satch with Marshall again?
I think there are a few artists that DONT use what they endorse. They have to make a living and endorsement deals can yield some extra cash . Dimebag was one of the biggest gear whores out there. I am not trying to disrespect him, i have a razorback and he is basically why i started playing guitar b...

Re: Another amp recomendation question...
for 499 you could get a new vox night train head. 15 watts all tube class A and it is LOUD. Sounded beautiful through a vintage 30 equipped cab. If you are looking for something a little more look at the mesa caliber, dual caliber, f series and maybe a beat up mark III. There are a couple of other r...

Re: My Jem won't stay in tune!!
worst case as said before, the hole for the bushing can be fixed with a dowle. I have had a couple of issues like this, nothing where the trem popped out of the guitar though. In those cases i pulled the bushing and put wood glue in the post holes. The glue will stick to the wood and not the metal m...

Re: Satch with Marshall again?
flying in a blue dream was recorded using a mesa 50. caliber . If you like that kind of tone a mesa mark 3, caliber or dual caliber (dc) will get those kind of tones. If you are looking for something cheaper then a peavey xxx, 3120, or used jsx. I dont recommend any marshall amps more recent than th...

Re: Amp Modelling Programs
well if you already have an interface propellerhead's newest program seems like the way to go. My store's line 6 rep came in today to talk about line 6's new toys and what they can do . I asked him about recording and he said it was amazing, of course he kind of has to say that in order to push the ...

Re: Anyone have the Marshall Haze 15w amp ?
well i thought i'd post back because my companies marshall rep came in today and i told him i wasn't impressed with the ministack. He happened to have the 40 watt combo and he asked if i would be willing to try it. I said shure why not. The combo to me sounded better. The cleans were surprisingly go...
