legacy tube test clips.......
What i did here is test out the tone of differnt tubes in the V1 spot of a carvin Legacy. alot of people ask " what does XXX tube sound like? and What are the tone differnces between AAA tube and BBB tube"?..... so i posted some clips of various tubes so people can HEAR the differnce for themselves....

could be that the knife edges of the trem worn out so there is a flat spot. and when you dive/rise the trem....it will 'click" when returned to the normal zero-point. but i never heard of a case so bad where it actually caused a click noise. check your springs in the spring cavity in the back. make ...

try these settings. bass -6 mids-5 highs- 6.5 pres -7 gain -7 volume - atleast 4 or more when recording with a mic, place the mic straight on facing the speaker about 1 1/2 inches away, but have the mic positioned so its looking at the edge of the speaker. then when you run this to your mix board, j...

the new evo2 are almost the same as the originals, but they took of some of that high end "ice-pick" treble that alot of people were complaining about from the original evos. by doing this, it lets the mids come out more, and it sounds a bit more 'nasaly" and like a wah wah stoped in the mid positio...

they hit the market almost a year ago. dimarzio kept it "hush, hush" untill recently putting it up on thier catalog. but they were available for sale a bout a year ago. To my knowledge, i dont think vai is using these. They are kinda like the BREED pickups, they were devoloped by him, but he doesnt ...

i personaly got the Marshall "power break" because its easy to use. No fancy knobs, switches, tones,........just one simple knob....VOLUME. and you dont have to match ohms and such with it, it has a 16 ohmn or 8 ohm switch on the back, and thats it. as far as tone.......it doesnt do anything to the ...
