i own all 3 of those pickups.......and my favorite is the Breeds. They are nice and fat, VERY PAF-like, but with more power, and a bump in the mids. The 'highs" are real round and smooth, but the pickup isnt muddy. It is a bit 'bass' excesive if you doing palm mute stuff.......then it tends to sound...

listen closely to the song "feaver dream" on his album Ultra Zone. listen to the very last note that is played at the end of the song.....and as it rings out....you can actually hear the 2 differnt delays being used.......as the note decays and fades out. thats the dual delay set up he uses quite fr...

for recording live CDs....im sure he will set his delays according to BPM tempo, but LIVE shows........he probly would use just a handfull of delay presets cause it would be a pain in the butt to change the delay settings between every song live........ for the most part (live) he will have 2 main d...

special EQ on the amp?.........eh........i personaly would just boost the highs. Try an EQ settings like this....... Bass- 6 Mids-4 or 5 highs- 7 (if you use the Carvin legacy amp, push the Presence button IN) I would keep the highs around 7, and start messing with the bass and mid knobs accordinly,...
