i´m talking about the hidden feature of his signature cabinet, not about his setup.

if you have your gain under 6, you have a very distorted sound, but when you turn your volume knob down it is CLEAN!


So what´s the hidden feature of the box?

is this a tube amp?

if not, your videos will suck anyway .

well with my tube amp when i turn the volume up the sound goes from nonexistent to really loud really fast. and if i have it at the right place there i get a very different distortion sound. it sounds very metallica metally. its really quiet like maybe quiet practicing levels but it is pretty easil...

if you don´t change any of your settings but the master volume and the gain goes down, there´s something wrong with the amp itself. I think it´s the tubes, in 80% of all cases I´m right ;). Check your preamp tubes, switch them around and listen to the sound/try increasing the volume again. And watch...

he says the cabs do have some kind of secret....what is it?

I only know about the secret on the legacy (because I have one ).

your gain shouldn´t go away when you turn the volume up. Check your tubes.

just read what stands on the switch. the upper position says "bright".

it is a Roland GR-33 and it is a midi device...
