f*ck the hot plate and get a Weber Mass Attenuator.
The Hot plate gives the amp a very unnatural sound. And it´s overpriced by far. The weber is worth all of its money and doesn´t change the amp sound at all!!!!

well, the Legacy does not have as much gain as a boogie. So I would say yes, Steve plays with less gain than some other guitar players (also keep in mind, that he has some distortion on his pedal board...), but I wouldn´t say it´s "less than you expect". It´s still enouh. Also, the Legacy is an amp,...

Does Steve use a Compressor?
Hi!
A Compressor always has been a very interesting but heavy effect to deal with. Can anybody tell if Steve is using a compressor when playing live? Well, also in the studio, but mainly playing live.
Anybody with any information, maybe even settings?
Would be very cool!

What workstation does Steve use in his studio?
Hi!
Does anyone know, what Steve uses for recording with ProTools HD?
I think it´s a Mac, but does anyone know which one?

I know he's broken a number of necks on EVO over the years... so new necks are kind of like fret jobs. But that's a pretty good question... I wonder how often he would need to get his necks refretted -- and of course, assuming that the neck's hold up longer than the frets themselves. ??? brea...
