i´ve never tried an eventide, but all the other harmonizers sound like crap when playing chords. so a g-major wouldn´t be a suggestion...

well, you could just order one. usually you can give it back, I don´t know if it´s distributed in your area. why don´t you just ask them?

reviews from the more articulate reviewers ("this is awesome dude" does not constitute a review in my opinion!) suggest a buzzy, glassy characteristic creeps in that cannot be dialled out or compensated by the unit or EQ. Since this is the level I'm likely to most use, I've decided to save my money...

well...flamenco is the hardest thing you can do in guitarplaying by far. And I dare to say Vai can NOT play flamenco and won´t be able to learn it anymore to be a good flamencoplayer. I also think he doesn´t want to, so.....

hmm, there´s one question in my head ;). do the BH 1s all have the same wah range? what i mean is, when I push the pedal very slowly, there is a point (when it´s almost even to the metal plate while pushing it up) where it abruptly goes from "uuu" to "aaah", and I´ve not even passed half of the peda...

hmmm, although this is a video of damn low sound quality and there is a wah used so it´s a very bad video for comparison, you can definately hear it´s a strat and that it differs from satrianis usual sound.
