Carvin 7-strings are excellent and are sub-$700, barring any extra options.

I think this is what you may be looking for? I'm sure that he used these mic stand pick holders and attached them to his guitar with an adhesive. Oh, and I forgot to mention this one as well, it may be more do-able as it doesn't have the rounded edge (although is discontinued on Musician's Friend). ...

What would you get?
Well, I'm in a bind right now.. I can't decide what guitar to get... A Carvin guitar with all the trimmings (mm, flamed maple) or A ES-335 type guitar, hollowbody (currently looking at a Heritage model or the John Scofield Ibanez model, which I assume has a smaller neck, being Ibanez?) Anyways, I've...

Shouldn't be over 15 dollars. Try Stew art MacDonald To make it last in the mean time, you may want to try to clean it with contact cleaner (available at your local Radio Shack, or the like, store). This should fix the problem for a while, and might keep you at bay for a few more months. Ultimately,...

The Fernandes Sustainer actually uses your bridge pickup (or middle coil, if you have it wired that way) as the place where the tone comes out. The thing that looks like a pickup is actually just a magnetic driver. In theory, it shouldn't affect a strat tone, however the signal does go through Ferna...

Yeah, I think its a great tool for those with sound limits. THD makes good products too, I don't think you'll regret purchasing a hot plate if you like tube overdrive. And sure, your tubes are going to go quicker - only because you'll be able to stand the great sound of real overdriven tubes and wan...
