I'm under the impression that official Ibanez necks and bodies are pretty hard to come by if you're just a small consumer fish. There are plenty of places like LGM and other builder/enthusiast sites that reproduce RG and JEM style bodies, but obviously they're not Ibanez.

A Musicman John Petrucci goes for over $1000... I think that your free guitar would probably be the $200 OLP (Officially Licensed Product) Petrucci model. But whatever, it's free.

Effect on tone is pretty negligible, as is stability. So it's your choice.

I'd probably go for the 5 piece just because the 2 skunk stripes look pretty cool.

I like the CryBaby - I don't believe you can leave the Morley on without your foot on it if you wish to keep it at one parameter.

The sustain is more independent of the pickups, and I believe that the sustain of his tone is more dependent on whether he as a compressor in the signal chain, but more importantly the setup of his Ibanez - how well the neck is in the pocket and how straight and solid the neck is. And just speculati...
