I always thought it would be very cool to have MC Escher's Metamorphosis on a fretboard - how logistically possible that would be is beyond me - I think it might be impossible with abalone or pearl inlays. You'd probably just have to take a high-quality photocopy and laminate it  . Anyway, I'v...

I've never played one, however felt compelled to reply: What an odd looking duckling - from the Washburns I've played, the body has been uncomfortable, however the necks are very fast. I felt I had to fight with the guitar though, very stiff. Any big chain near you that would carry a model like this...

Red Music (Link to Red Music) distributes Favored Nations' music... Other than that, I can find no bigger label ties and assume that is an indie label.

Thanks Knight - was too lazy to post a link to verify this info (instead opting for the "search the forum" excuse!). To clarify even more, this does not apply to Mr. Vai and Mr. Satriani's studio albums (respectively) - maybe they are releasing at the same time because they have 'conspired to take o...

Alive in an Ultra World was my first Vai album as well (I had heard of him and heard some of his stuff over at friends' houses) and I bought it while I was going on a roadtrip. We were going from Chicago into Iowa. It sounds cheesy, it sounds like a cliche or something like it, but something was ope...

If you noticed guys, both Satch and Vai have nearly identically named anthologies coming out at the same time. My guess is they may be in talks to have their albums come out generally at the same time. Sorry... That isn't so. Satch and Vai didn't talk about putting the Anthologies out at all - rath...

Being a lefty is also a very expensive ordeal. When I teach a left handed person to play, I usually reccomend they try their best to act as a righty!

Victor Wooten (From Bela Fleck and the Flecktones) takes a lot of Jaco licks and his style.

I met Mike in Chicago where he did a Taylor clinic at Hix Bros Music!

Cool beans, got him to sign Alive in an Ultra World - Extremely nice guy, talked to each person there as long as they wanted.
