I was just wondering, since lots of people have said the legacy is medium gain amp, and through personal experience. Tony Macalpine is burning with a Legacy. His tone is thick yet very defined and his lead tone is probably the best ive heard coming out of a legacy (except vai). How does he do it?

its a good piece of equipment. i tried a used one at my local guitar center. it has a good character to the tone, and the overdrvive is hot but clean,if you know what I mean. I would compare it to the Hughes n Kettner triamp. or a marshall but with much more tone and warmer
