Okay so I finally get around to ordering some new pickups for my guitar(Evolution-7 Bridge and PAF-7 for the neck) And what do you know, the PAF-7's don't come in red.

Does anyone know where I can get the PAF-7 in red color ?

Any help will be greatly appreciated...

Well if you sell your guitar to someone for 280 bucks with it in the condition it's in now...they're going to be pissed as hell and want to send it back...

So far I've been really pleased with my Zoom606, I know it's not that great, but it's at least given me a good idea of what kind of effects there are.

How much better are single stomp boxes/effects than multi effects pedals?

I've had several recomendations for that very model, I think I'll look into it thanks .

I had the chance to play on a neck that had been scalloped the other day...it felt awkward.

I guess it's an acquired taste or a personal preference thing, does anyone know what the advantages/disadvantages of this are?

I'm not an expert on this stuff by any means...but it wasn't there when you first bought it? That's odd...try plugging different guitars into it to see if the hum is still present, maybe it's just the way the amp is wired.. But yeah, I'm sure there's someone else who could give better advice, good l...

Your best bets are to look for one you can try out before you buy...Sometimes you'll get a nice one, good setup ect, but why take the risk? Then again it all depends on what you're looking for. If you wouldn't mind getting a guitar that required some set up to bring it up to standards then ordering ...

Yeah, I've heard really good things about the evolution 7, but I'm clueless about the PAF-7. The websites description sounds exactly like what I am looking for, but reviews are an assortment of mixed opinions..

A stupid question: Is the Evolution 7 an active pickup?

I was thinking about upgrading my pickups in my Ibanez GRX720BK to some Dimarzio pickups and a 5-way switch thing installed to expand on the sound, but I wasn't sure what kind I should get. I'm looking for a sweet solo sound in the bridge position that really cuts through but isn't painful to listen...
