K7...worth the cash?

Just some general questions about 7 string guitars with floyd roses...

I played a K7 in the store the other day...I really liked the feel of the neck(really..really liked it O_o). But is it worth the price tag? Should I just go with an RG?

I want to at least get it working before I start taking it apart, then I'll put it back together to see if it still works.(Then I can work on getting it working again!! yay!) EDITL: Sorry for the size, I had to shrink them in paint as it is and I couldn't get them much smaller without it losing more...

I know next to nothing about floating bridges, but my friend was having the same problem. So before you freak out, make sure you acount for these. Have you replaced the strings recently? They might not be fully stretched so they'll keep going out of tune. Also make sure that the locking nut is on th...

Bringing a guitar back to life..Any tips?

I bought a cheap busted up washburn BT-2(already low-end, but for 40 bucks it was fine for what I needed) the other day so I could take it apart and learn about how guitars are put together. Anyways, it's missing a bridge, and several internal components(at least I think so because the pickups aren'...

I was noodling around on a guitar outside a G3 gig, he must have heard me and he came up to me! He said he was in awe of my terrifying technique and style and he wondered if he could book a few lessons with me sometime. I said I was actually a bit busy but could maybe fit him in at a push as a spec...

Yeah, the song pretty much ends when all the voices start. It's okay when they're just in the background....but when all you hear is the person talking and the music is quiet it gets very annoying.

Other than that, it's a really really really REALLY great song.

Well some music with adrenaline pumping riffs and lyrics about being pissed off at everything is okay. It's just when there are hundreds of bands out there focusing ONLY on that style of music does it become extremely annoying. Its not that these Nu-Metal bands can't play guitars....they just need m...

Korn got me into guitar and bass playing...without them I would have never gotten into Vai's stuff either...or if I did it would have been far into the future... Steve himself said Munky and Head were good guitarists. Anyways, as far as Steve influencing all these other guitar players...well whateve...

I found the lyrics to be repulsive, insulting, and downright immature.

But it's really funny    And I think that's partly why he wrote it. There is some meaning in it though....

Most of his lyrics are pretty goofy anyways, I stick to his instrumental works :).

My first -guitar- was a Ibanez GIO(or grx I'm not sure) 7 string. It's held up real good for awhile now and I don't see any reason to replace it. I have a Squier 5 string bass that I got 7 months before the Ibanez and now a year and 2 months later it still plays like it did the 1st day I got it. I n...
