Honestly, this pickup matches the tone of steve vai better than the original evos. On his records and live shows....he doesnt sound shrill or high pierceing.....like his origianl evo pickups are. But this new Evo 2 is more to what he sounds like. This doesnt even make sense. You can't get closer to...

What guage/tuning/pickups did Steve use on the guitar on the RL Tour? Im pretty sure it was something like Evo- with evos, 9s Flo- evos and sustainer, 9s But what about the chrome guitar(s)? It shouldnt take that long, I can do it in 15 minutes easily. Get a rag so you don't slice up your finger(speaking from experience). Preserving an Autograph

Whats the best way to preserve an autograph on a guitar? Steve signed my axe below the pickups. Ways I've heard are clear stickers, nail polish, and clear spray paint. Thanks!
