I get some cotton wool, tie some floss onto one end, then pull it through the spring. Fluff it up a bit, and it works. I use a similar method. Pull apart a cotton cosmetic puff and stuff the strands into the spring with a toothpick. Since the dampening material is inside the spring, everything appe...

It's DEFINITELY NOT a 1960 cabinet. The 1960 is a bit larger - 30" wide x 30" high. There should be at least a 4" wide separation between the speakers from side to side. Judging by your pic, they would have to be touching each other on the sides. The speaker with the metal dust cap is definitely not...

The SX50 and SX100 are not even close to being a Legacy. They are both completely solid state amps while the Legacy is an all tube design. The Legacy model numbers are VL-100 for the head version and VL-212 for the combo. The only things the SX series has in common with the Legacy is that they both ...

Zappa was also a HUGE coffee drinker.

His only drugs of choice were nicotine and caffeine. If you used drugs while on tour with Frank, it was frowned upon. If they started affecting your performance, he fired you on the spot.
