Dream Theater. I didn't knew their songs so much but somehow I knew that band would be a) interesting somehow from other band aspects I was interested in b) guitarrr. March 1998 they were touring here. I noticed the ticket sales beginning, told my friend and she bashed them "nothing but noise, can't...

He is one of the most underrated and misunderstood artists. I do remember in the 80's when people were comparing Michael Jackson and Prince - they weren't and ever will be at the same line. Who's making hundreds and hundreds of songs? Who's playing dozens of instruments on his own? Who's having his ...

I noticed the same thing but IMHO Satch and Vai are not "the guitarists" the way that mag thinks they should be. They are way beyond so it's not any wonder they are missing from that listing. Personally I'm not so disappointed (hey, there was Prince but not in top 5, don't know if he would be there ...

florimel, thank you for such a great review...I laughed, it was pleasure to read....such a clear text about the gig. It took personally for me three weeks to get slightly back into normal thinking after the show I saw and couldn't describe things so clearly as you. Thank you for everyone who shares ...

Those common small sized digital cameras are allowed (but check that from the venue also, I've heard they might have different rules). Flash is ok during Evo but at the show, no flash please, you know why. If you have a camera with too big immovable object, they might not let you take any pics durin...

Thank you for visiting Finland! I wouldn’t believe I will see you here after G3 (after 16 months). That was the first time I ever saw you live. Yesterday was the second time. About Tuesday night… One word: Jackpot all in all. Evo Experience included only three of us visitors but it was really specia...

There's so many, eg. Giant Balls Of Gold, which gives so much energy and feeling I could do anything. Ya-Yo Gakk makes me smile and laugh, it's so great when kids give inspiration. That song is so amazing - unique, unforgettable. Lately been listening almost non-stop Lotus Feet. From the first five ...

Whole lotta great pics and story, thanks for sharing! :D Sorry, off topic: That limo just reminds me about my first Prince gig ever, in Stockholm three years ago (ONA). When we left Globen after the show, white, long limo passed our car in the carage just while we were driving out. We followed it fo...

I am sorry for reading about those problems during the beginning of current tour. Hope problems are solved soon and guys are getting over that. I couldn't help when yesterday a couple of songs just popped into my mind when I read about those struggles: Whispering A Prayer and Rescue Me Or Bury Me. H...
