dude...since you are in Pasadena....if it's CA...then you are lucky...why not drive down to Sunset Blvd. and try both amps.....both Carvin and Mesa are just next door to each other....and across the street is Guitar Center...maybe they have some 2nd hadn boutique amps there too...if you are lucky.

I think T Mac's sound (Live in Astoria) is quite thin... I don't know how to express that, to my ears it misses some bass and middle/bass frequencies so only the very high end of it comes out.
